Family of four rescued from fire

Fire at Ambergate Supplies
Police are treating the fire in the shop below the flat as suspicious

A family of four has been rescued from a fire at a building in Nottingham.

Firefighters from Stockhill were called to the convenience store on Ambergate Road in the Beechdale area of the city at about 0115 BST on Sunday.

The shop's owner, his wife and two sons, aged 16 and 17, were all rescued from a flat above the shop. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police and Nottinghamshire Fire Service said they were currently treating the fire as suspicious.
