Police are searching for three men who may be covered in pink ink in connection with a cash machine theft.
The men drove a lorry into the machine in a garage on Toton Lane, Stapleford, in Nottinghamshire, at about 0350 BST on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said they stole cash boxes from inside the machine and ran off towards the A52.
Pink anti-theft dye sprayed from the machine during the raid. Police believe all three could be covered in the ink.
The thieves used a stolen white-cabbed flat bed truck, which was left at the garage following the theft.
Det Insp Stuart McHattie, of Nottinghamshire police, said: "It is very likely one or all of these offenders have been sprayed with the pink ink.
"This dye is designed to stay on an offender's skin for a long time and cannot easily be washed off."
Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of the men stained with the pink ink.
