Lead thieves pull plug on church
Wilford Parish Church
The church rood will be replaced with felt temporarily
Services at a Nottingham church have been moved to the village hall after lead was stolen from the roof - for the fifth time in six months.

There is now no lead left at all on Wilford Parish Church's roof and the building is drying out after getting soaked in a storm.

The roof will now be repaired using felt, as a temporary measure, to stop any further damage.

The church was built in 1430 and serves a community of almost 300 people.
