The Conservatives have taken control from Labour in the Nottinghamshire borough of Gedling.
Control of the council, located on the edge of Nottingham, was previously shared with Labour.
Labour previously held 20 seats - while the Tories had 22 seats. This time Labour lost 11 seats to end up with only nine while the Tories won 28.
The Liberal Democrats won a total of nine seats in this election - a gain of two seats.
