Probe into footballers' behaviour
CCTV footage
Police are investigating allegations of rowdy behaviour by players
Police have begun an investigation in to the alleged rowdy behaviour of a group of Nottingham Forest players following a heavy defeat.

Staff at a Nottingham bar allege that players threw drinks, smashed glasses and made inappropriate comments to a female member of staff.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on 2 January - 24 hours after the team were thrashed 5-0 by Oldham.

The club has not commented. Police are planning to interview bar staff.

One member of the bar staff, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: "There was an incident where a glass was deliberately smashed on the floor and another incident of a pint of lager being poured over another of the players.

"This came to one of the female members of staff having to tell them they would have to leave because their behaviour was inappropriate and she'd had enough of dealing with their abuse."

The 5-0 defeat was the team's worst result of the season.
