Investigation after weapon fired
Forensic officers are carrying out investigations at a house in Nottinghamshire after a weapon was fired, police have confirmed.

The shot was fired at a house near the junction of Crookdole Lane and Park Road in Calverton on Sunday night.

One woman was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre and treated for shock after the incident.

Witnesses reported a bullet-shaped hole in the front door of the house which remains cordoned off.
