Three arrested after man abducted
Forensic officer
Forensic officers will continue to search the scene
Three people have been arrested and released on bail over the shooting and abduction of a Nottingham man.

A 27-year-old from Aspley is still in hospital after being shot in the leg and back, abducted and dumped on a country road on Wednesday evening.

Police said he was in a stable condition and was sitting up and talking to relatives.

The man told police four people attacked him outside the Lord Nelson pub on Crabtree Road in Bulwell.

He was bundled into a car and driven to an unknown location where his hands were bound and he was held for several hours.

The man negotiated his own release and was found dumped on Moor Road near the Griffin's Head pub in Papplewick - about 15 minute's drive away from the Lord Nelson - almost four hours later.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them and will continue forensic searches in the area.
