Library service moves to car park
A Nottinghamshire library is closing for four months while a major refurbishment takes place.

A temporary mobile service is being set up in a car park in Sutton-in-Ashfield during the project, county council officials said.

The £500,000 facelift for the building in the Idlewells precinct will include new carpets, furniture and lighting.

The refit will include new books, more computers for public use and a refreshment area.

A temporary service using a mobile library will be set-up in a supermarket car park next to Outram Street, from 11 November.
