Woman dies after cigarette fire
An woman has died after a fire at a house in Nottinghamshire.

The blaze, which broke out at the property in Nuthall on Saturday morning, is believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette.

Police said the victim was elderly, although her exact age and name has not yet been released.

Officers confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire. The Coroner for Nottinghamshire has been informed.
