Couple killed in lorry collision
A daughter watched as her parents were killed when a lorry hit their caravan as they were changing a tyre, police have confirmed.

George Bodycott, 59, and his wife Sheila, 56, were both killed as the HGV hit their caravan on the A46 at Brough, Nottinghamshire, on Saturday morning.

The couple, from Bestwood Park View, Arnold, Notts, were on their way to a family holiday in Lincolnshire.

Their daughter Christina, 29, was on the grass verge and had minor injures.

The DAF articulated lorry which was involved ended up in a field after the collision which shunted the Bodycotts' Mitsubishi car and caravan off the road and into a ditch.

The 49-year-old lorry driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and later released.

A police investigation has been launched into the cause of the crash
