People living in one part of Nottingham are celebrating the opening of a community-owned leisure centre.
Campaign group The Lenton Centre bought the former council-run Lenton leisure centre in 2004 for just £10.
The centre, officially opened on Monday, complete with new gym, will be run as a business by trustees.
They are also hoping to re-open the swimming pool at the facility, which will also be used as a meeting point for the community.
Jenny Hill, chair of the trustees, said: "We are able to look at every space at the centre to see how we can use it to make the place pay for itself and ultimately pay for the pool to be successful."
