Two Nottingham law students are going to Africa to help the victims of vicious acid attacks.
Students Anna Kiely and Patience Kalu are set to travel to Uganda later this year where the attacks are becoming an increasing problem.
The pair, from Nottingham University, want to support victims as they often have no way of giving evidence as there is no legal aid system available.
The trip is being organised by the International Justice Mission.
It organises for legal and law enforcement workers to help individual victims of injustice and abuse around the world.
The two students hope the trip will help them gather information for their own studies.
