Man charged after pen-stab death
A man has been charged with murder after a patient was stabbed in the eye with a pen at a mental health unit.

Michael Green, 60, was attacked at the Wells Road Centre in Nottingham on 13 August and died in hospital from his injuries a week later.

Karl Tett, 35, of Valley Road, Sherwood, who was arrested at the same clinic, was remanded in custody by Nottingham magistrates on Friday.

He was sent to a secure mental health unit in Leicester.

The Wells Road Centre is used by patients with severe mental health problems who need help with substance abuse.
