BT rings the changes for booths
Dozens of phone boxes in Nottinghamshire are facing the axe under plans by BT.

The company wants to scrap 75 booths in the county by the end of the year, following a review of kiosks in Notts.

BT says the number of calls from payphones has halved in the past three years in the UK. It blames the rising use of mobile phones.

Councils and residents will be asked their opinions. Last month a battle was won to keep a payphone in Kersall.
