The Ningbo campus will open in September
A top-level delegation from a Chinese city will visit Nottingham next month to formalise business and twinning links between the two cities.

Shao Xiaojie, the vice-chairman of Ningbo People's Congress, will sign a "sister city" agreement.

It will help bring about closer collaboration on trade, educational and cultural affairs.

The link has been forged on the back of the development of the University of Nottingham's new campus in Ningbo.

The purpose-built campus will have the capacity for 8,000 students and is due to open in September.
