Police are on the Moroccan beat
Two police officers from Nottingham spent their Christmas Day driving an old banger across Morocco.

It was part of an epic journey from Nottingham to Gambia to raise money in memory of an ex colleague.

PC Peter Boddy and PC Ian Woodward are taking part in the Plymouth to Dakar Challenge - a spoof of the famous Paris to Dakar rally.

Cash raised will go to the Ged Walker Memorial Fund. Pc Walker died when he was run over by a convicted robber.
