A new guide has been launched to encourage more people to visit the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire.
Although it has no connections with Robin Hood, tourism chiefs are hoping the links to Lord Byron and Eric Coates will prove as big a pull.
The new brochure drawn up by Ashfield District Council is available in paper form or online.
It is hoped the promotional campaign will help the area compete with Sherwood Forest and the Peak District.
Along with established places such as Brierley Park, the guide also focuses on lesser known places such as the 12th Century Felley Priory at Underwood and the Hidden Valleys - an area of countryside north of Hucknall.
A caravan park and hotel in the area have both recently won major tourism awards.
