Burglars in Nottingham are to receive season's greetings from the county's police force.
About 100 known offenders will be sent Christmas cards to remind them to be on their guard over the festive period.
They show a man in a pair of handcuffs and bear the message: 'Thinking of you at Christmas.'
Insp Paul Winter said: "We know where people live that have committed crimes and we are going to be keeping a close eye on them."
