Halloween pranks will be punished
Police in Mansfield are asking shops and supermarkets not to sell eggs and flour to young people aged under 18 in the run-up to Halloween.

Officers are concerned the youngsters are using them to pelt houses and cars- often owned by elderly people.

They hope the policy will also send a message to parents to keep their children under control.

Police say they will prosecute if they catch any youngsters pelting targets with eggs or flour.
