Pc killer wants lesser sentence
David Parfitt
Parfitt was convicted of manslaughter
The man who killed Nottinghamshire policeman Ged Walker wants his prison sentence reduced.

David Parfitt, 27, from Aspley in Nottingham, was found guilty of manslaughter last December and sentenced to 13 years in jail.

He killed Pc Walker, a dog handler, by dragging him behind a car as he attempted evade arrest.

Parfitt's defence team said that he had accepted responsibility for the death, but had never intended to kill him.

The appeal will be heard in London later this month.
