Road-works may be completed early
The final phase of a multi-million pound road maintenance scheme in Nottinghamshire is expected to be completed ahead of schedule.

The work on the A1 between Winthorpe and Coddington near Newark cost £5m.

The northbound and southbound carriageways have been resurfaced with low noise material to reduce noise pollution in the surrounding area.

Vital safety fencing on the central reservation has also been replaced and existing drainage systems updated.
