Front of Northampton nightclub Chicago falls to floor

Part of the front of a Northamptonshire nightclub has fallen down hours after people left the building.

The Chicago Rock Cafe on The Parade, Market Square, in Northampton, was open until the early hours.

At about 1030 GMT, fire crews were called to make the building safe when part of the frontage fell off.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said the area was cordoned off while fire crews secured the scene. No-one was injured, she added.
