Work to start on £50,000 BMX area

Work is due to start on a £50,000 scheme to build a BMX track near a play area in a Northamptonshire town.

The track is to be built near the Charlotte Place play area in Kettering.

The Kettering Borough Council scheme, due to be completed by Christmas this year, is being part-funded by the Big Lottery fund.

The track will also be used to encourage people of all age ranges to start cycling. It will be built by DT Leisure Ltd and work starts on Monday.
