Men in hospital after crane crash

No-one inside the cottage was injured

Two men have been taken to hospital after a crane and a car collided and hit a house on the border of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

The crane driver was airlifted to hospital and the car driver taken by ambulance from the scene on the A6003 at Rockingham.

The car was badly damaged, the crane was flipped over and the wooden front porch was knocked off the house.

No-one inside the cottage, owned by the Rockingham Estate, was injured.
