Boy remembered with football game

A football match is to be played in memory of a 12-year-old boy who was killed when he was knocked off his bike on the A6 in Northamptonshire.

Connor Roche, of Eastfield Crescent, Finedon, was hit by a Land Rover at Irthlingborough on 30 June.

A football match will kick-off on Sunday at Finedon recreation ground, where Connor played in a boys team.

A Facebook group has so far attracted 1,300 tributes to the pupil of Huxlow Science College, Irthlingborough.
