Boy headbutted by man during game

A 13-year-old boy has been attacked by a man in Northamptonshire.

The boy was playing football with a group of friends in Whitehills Way, Northampton, on Saturday evening.

A man, described as being aged between 25 and 30, and who did not know the victim, threatened him before headbutting him in the face.

The 13-year-old received facial injuries and needed medical attention. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
