Satisfaction surveys hit the road

People living in Northamptonshire are being given the chance to have their say on the county's roads.

For the first time Northamptonshire County Council is carrying out a satisfaction survey.

A questionnaire will be posted to a random sample of 5,500 households in the county.

The council said that when the questionnaires have been returned the results will be compared with other local authorities.

The questions asked will cover satisfaction with roads and transport services, use of transport, cycling, road safety, traffic management and congestion.

The questionnaire is part of a National Highways and Transport Satisfaction Survey, in which 77 other local authorities are taking part.
