The company is waiting to hear if it will be bought by a Hong Kong-based firm

Staff at a clothing manufacturer in Northamptonshire have been told of plans to restructure the company.

More than 120 people work at the Aquascutum factory in Corby and have been told consultations will begin at the end of the month.

The company was set up in 1851 and has stores and outlets across the world.

The GMB union said that all areas of the UK organisation would be affected by the restructuring. There has been no clarification on job losses.

A statement from the company says that details of the restructuring will not be clarified until it is known if the Hong Kong-based firm YGM Trading will pursue its purchase of Aquascutum.
