A 74-year-old woman who was critically injured in an incident at a bus station in Northampton has died in hospital.

The woman had serious head injuries after a single deck bus collided with her as it was entering Greyfriars bus station on Saturday evening.

She was taken to Northampton General Hospital and died there early on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers would like to speak to an older man who is believed to have witnessed the incident.

The man had been travelling on a number 16 service and had got off at the bus station just before the incident.
