Woman charged with murder of man

A woman has been charged with the murder of a Lithuanian man who was found dead at a house in Northampton.

Officers were called to the house in Alcombe Road on Wednesday where 34-year-old Gintaras Pupeliene was found with a single stab wound.

Daiva Pupeliene, 36, appeared before magistrates in Northampton and was remanded in custody.

Three men and one woman arrested in connection with the inquiry have been released without charge.
