Teenager dies at hunt's kennels

A 16-year-old boy has died from a gunshot wound at a Northamptonshire hunt's kennels.

Jack Burgess was working in the kennels at Grafton Hunt, Paulerspury, near Towcester, when the incident happened.

Police were called to the scene on Monday afternoon and have said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A pony club meet has been cancelled.

A Northamptonshire police spokesman said a report was being prepared for the coroner who will open an inquest.
