Driver dies in two car collision

A 33-year-old man has died in a car crash on the A47 in Northamptonshire.

The driver of a Peugeot 106 travelling from Leicester was killed when his car collided with a Hyundai Tucson coming from the Peterborough direction.

The male and female occupants of the Hyundai, both 73 years old and from Leicester, suffered serious injuries.

Police said the collision occurred at Collyweston on Sunday and believe the Peugeot driver comes from the Peterborough area.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
