Eleven people have been charged with public order offences following disorder linked to a Kettering Town football match in Northamptonshire.

Four of the men, aged 29, 31, 37 and 41, are from the Kettering area.

Another, aged 46, is from Birmingham, and another four, aged 17, 18, 20 and 22, are from Telford. Two, aged 17 and 22, are from Shifnal in Shropshire.

The disorder took place before and after the Kettering Town versus Telford United football match on 5 April.

They will be appearing before Kettering Magistrates Court on dates throughout September, said a Northamptonshire Police spokesperson.
