Police seize drugs worth £250,000

Drugs with a street value of more than £250,000 were seized by police in raids in Northamptonshire on Thursday.

Three people have been arrested and are being questioned about the discovery of 2.5kg of heroin.

A 63-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, both from Woodford, with a Corby woman aged 32, were held on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

The three were arrested in the Moorings in Woodford, near Thrapston, and at Highbrook in Corby, police said.
