Dispersal order to curb nuisance

A six-month dispersal order has been imposed on a district of Northampton after residents and police complained about anti-social behaviour.

A police spokesman said people found causing problems in the defined area of Moulton Leys will be moved on.

Local residents blamed young people for causing a nuisance and car crime.

Pc Alan Titchner said: "There has been a huge number of complaints and we hope the order will help to solve the issues raised by the community."
