Two robbers attack security guard

A security guard has been attacked by two robbers during a raid on a delivery van in Northamptonshire.

Police said the guards had called at the TGI Friday's restaurant at Sixfields Leisure Park, Northampton, when the incident happened.

The two robbers threatened one of the guards and a struggle took place during which the guard fell to the ground and was assaulted.

The robbers took the cash box during the raid on 9 May.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
