Search of river for missing man

Police have been searching a river in Northamptonshire for a man who went missing from his home.

Brian Winsworth, 73, was last heard from on Saturday night and has not been seen at his home in Islip since then.

Police have been searching the river and bank at Thrapston, which is close to Mr Winsworth's home.

The 73-year-old is described as white, 6ft tall, with short grey hair and a tanned complexion. He was possibly wearing a light blue top.
