Daniel Hathaway disappeared with £3,000 in his pocket

The father of a mechanic whose disappearance nearly a year ago sparked a murder inquiry has made a fresh appeal for information.
Danny Hathaway, 44, left his home on the travellers' site in Gretton Brook Road, Corby, Northamptonshire, on 7 February 2007 with £3,000.
Mr Hathaway's father Kenneth said the family were gradually coming to terms with the belief that Danny was dead.
Police said a 23-year-old has been charged with murder.
'Remain hopeful'
Kenneth Hathaway, from Church Stretton, Shropshire, said the family were desperate for any information that may, in time, lead to the discovery of the body of the father-of-two.
Mr Hathaway said he hopes that the year anniversary of Danny's disappearance on Thursday will prick the conscience of someone who has so far withheld this information, so bringing closure for him and the rest of Danny's family.
The police have conducted a lengthy and detailed investigation into the killing of Danny.
Det Ch Insp Katie Elliott, who is leading the inquiry, said: "We are now ever more certain that Danny is dead and we would like to know where his body is and I would again appeal to anyone who has information around this to contact the investigation team.
"It is devastating for Danny's family not to know where his body is and, a year after his disappearance, I remain hopeful that someone will come forward and call in with important information."
Danny's family have offered a reward of £25,000 for anyone who can give information that leads to his discovery.
Anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police.
