Cannabis farm smashed by police
A cannabis factory with 140 plants capable of yielding an £80,000 crop every 10 weeks has been smashed by police in Northamptonshire.

The address in Daventry was raided by police officers on Thursday night following a tip-off from the public.

No occupants were inside the property in the Stour.

Det Insp Alan McSharry, of Northamptonshire Police, said: "We are delighted with the discovery and it's good when hard work pays off."

He added: "We will leave no stone unturned in our efforts to bring people who run cannabis factories to justice."
