Road reopened after fatal crash
A stretch of the A14 in Northamptonshire has reopened five hours after a fatal crash closed it.

One man died in the crash which involved three vehicles on the westbound carriageway between junction eight and junction nine, on 1215 BST.

The westbound carriageway has reopened along with the eastbound - closed so the Kettering Air Ambulance could land.

"We'd advise motorists there is still likely to be congestion in the area," a Northants Police spokeswoman said.

Police forensic investigations are ongoing.

The westbound carriageway was reopened at about 1730 BST.
