Two hurt as car ends up in ditch

Two men were injured when the car they were travelling in flipped over and landed in a ditch in Northamptonshire.

The driver lost control of his green Daewoo Matiz as he avoided a collision with a black car, which approached a bend on the wrong side of the road.

Police said the black car, possibly a Fiat, failed to stop after the crash on Pitsford Road in Moulton on Wednesday.

The Daewoo driver and his male passenger were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson said the driver of the black car may not have realised his or her driving had caused an accident.
