Driver dies in collision with van

A driver has died following a collision with another vehicle in Northamptonshire.

The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon on the A43 southbound, at its junction with the turn for Tiffield.

The victim, a 58-year-old woman from Towcester in the county, was driving a Hyundai car which was involved in a collision with a Mercedes van.

Northamptonshire Police appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact officers.
