Labour retaining control at Corby

The Liberal Democrats took three more seats at Corby Borough Council but the Labour Party retains overall control.

The Conservatives also lost one seat but they remain the second largest party with eight members.

Labour now has 16 representatives and the Liberal Democrats five on the new council.

Labour has dominated at Corby since 1976 when it took control from the Tories and has maintained its hold on power through seven elections.
