Binmen hurt by man with air gun
Two refuse collectors were injured when they were fired on by a man wielding what police believe was an air gun.

Officers were called to the scene in Oak Road, Kettering, Northants, where the refuse collectors had been working.

One had been hit in the neck, the other in the back - both suffered bruising. Police searched a house and seized a weapon and ammunition.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
