Knifeman targets a woman driver
A woman was threatened with a knife by a pedestrian who forced her to stop her car in Northampton.

The 34-year-old was driving along Salthouse Road on the Brackmills industrial estate when a man stood in the road, forcing her to stop.

He then opened the driver's door and threatened her with a knife but she drove off with the door still open.

The man was described as white, about 40-years-old, 6ft 8in, with brown, greasy, shoulder-length hair.

He was unshaven and wearing a multi coloured woollen jumper.

The woman, from Roade, was not injured in the incident on 12 December.
