Loud hailer spreads crime message
Police officers have resorted to old technology to spread the message about car crime prevention.

They are visiting car crime hotspots using a hand-held loud hailer to urge people to keep vehicles secure and leave nothing on display.

Officers in Kettering, Northants, say people are still leaving car doors unlocked with goods on show.

Letters will be sent to owners of vehicles found unlocked, warning about the temptations they are providing.
