State of the art sixth form opens
A new 1.3m sixth form centre in Northampton is being officially opened on Wednesday.

The building at Guilsborough School, West Haddon Road, boasts IT suites, common rooms and six classrooms for students.

Head of sixth-form Liz Reading said: "It will be of great benefit for all students studying for their A and AS levels."

The Kettering MP Phil Sawford will be cutting the ribbon at the new centre.

Mr Sawford said: "The new sixth form centre is a great improvement which offers students a much better learning environment coupled with the latest technology.

"The new facility is a great asset to the school and a better base for the older students."
