Dangerous 'learner' driver jailed
A learner driver from Northampton has been jailed for three years and banned from driving for 15 years after killing a mother of four children.

Lee Robins, 22, admitted causing the death of Joanne Wood, 32, by dangerous driving in June 2003.

He was driving a car after taking crack cocaine in Wellingborough Road, Northampton, when he lost control. Miss Wood was his front-seat passenger.

Robins was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on Friday.
