Wheelchair crash victim named

A man who died when his motorised wheelchair was involved in an accident in Kettering has been named.

Michael Cowley, 55, of Glastonbury Close, Kettering, was killed when his wheelchair was involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle on Orion Way in the town.

The lorry was near the McDonalds entry road at about 1325 GMT on Wednesday when the accident happened.

Police said the lorry driver was treated for shock.
