River search for missing York reveller

Jonathan Havron
Police said it was out of character for Mr Havron to go missing

A search of two rivers is under way in York for an 18-year-old man who has been missing since a night out in the city on Friday.

Jonathan Havron, from Huntington, was last seen by friends at 2130 GMT in Yates Wine Bar in the city centre.

North Yorkshire Police and the fire service are searching both the River Ouse and River Foss.

Police said it was "completely out of character" for Mr Havron to go missing and are appealing for information.

He is described as 5ft 8in (1.7m), with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, black leather jacket and dark walking boots.
